Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of outgoing in-house manufactured parts, incoming third-party supplier parts, and assemblies which include:
- Manual inspection with various test equipment
- Programming and running of CMM's, vision system, and cable tester
- Entering order information in the ERP System
- Oversees the calibration data base and assist in purchasing of new measurement equipment
- Execute machine maintenance
Qualifications
- Ability to read drawings
- Ability to apply GD&T
- Experience in manual inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement equipment
- Previous experience with automated measurement systems (CMM, VMM)
- Broad knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 or other ISO standards
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player
- Ability to demonstrate and model WITTENSTEIN core values
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality related role
- Strong computer skills including Quality assurance applications, word processing, excel spreadsheets and databases
