Responsibilities

$17.75/hr or more depending on experience.
  • Assemble mechanical products (gearboxes) with a variety of tools and hydraulic press according to specifications for this product
  • Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, technical orders and instructions for assembly
  • Detect and separate faulty parts, testing of assembled gearboxes and trouble shooting. Create test reports and store.
  • Package gearboxes
  • Report finished material
  • Good housekeeping for a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read blueprints, Bill of Materials, schematics and diagrams
  • Effectively use of tools to perform the task (incl. measuring equipment)
  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Ability to lift heavy parts up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to effectively work with forms, department procedures and objectives
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Some technical or vocational training is a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player with great attitude
