Job description / Your role:

Depending on your background and study focus, you will:

  • Support the design, analysis, and testing of mechatronic systems and actuators for space applications
  • Contribute to simulation, modeling, and system analysis (mechanical, thermal, or electrical)
  • Assist in requirements engineering and system architecture definition
  • Develop or extend analysis and test tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or CAD environments)
  • Participate in prototype assembly, laboratory testing, and validation
  • Prepare and document your results in the context of an internship or thesis project

Qualification Checklist:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering
  • You are passionate about space technology and multidisciplinary design
  • You enjoy solving complex problems and working in a hands-on, agile environment
  • Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
  • o MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or embedded software
    o CAD and FEM tools for mechanical or thermal analysis
    o Control engineering or electronics design
    o Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or requirements management
  • Good English skills (German is a plus)
