We invented it: the service engineer career profile

Service and repairs are becoming increasingly important within the industry. However, in the past, no career profile existed that reflected the interdisciplinary profile comprising the technical qualifications, service orientation and management methodology. So we initiated this new career profile and were heavily involved in developing it. Currently, 5 students are attending the Service Engineering program at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim.
